1st Night [Audio/Action for R29]
[Anyone who's walking through R29 might notice a ghostly-looking girl standing beside an ledge, looking as if she was going to jump. Of course, that would result in some serious injuries but she doesn't seem to mind standing there. The bandage on her knee might suggest she tried doing so but she looks fine other than the sullen look on her face. She looked almost like a statue just standing there doing nothing though.]
[Anyone passing by might get creeped out or just wonder why she's just standing there like a goddamn freak.]
---
[When audio feed comes on later that night, it's silent for a few moments except for some light breathing. When the sender finally decided to talk, her voice sounds distant and hesitant, as if she was going to collapse. Everything she says is basically a whisper so what she's saying might not come out clear enough.]
...Does anyone..know what this place is?
Am I...dead...or did I really find a way out...without--
[In the background, a Yamask's cry can be heard, stirring up an annoyed grumble from the quiet girl.] Sae, not now--
[Just then, sounds of an egg hatching could also be heard. Mayu gave a little "ah!" and audio cuts off from there.]

[Audio]
...Are you okay...?
[Audio]
I don't know...I don't know!
[She was starting to sound frightened.] What is this place?
[Audio]
You're -- [There's a thread of tension in her try at a welcoming tone.] ...You're in the Pokémon world! You're in a place called New Bark Town in Johto... and there's a map with your things.
It's... probably really far away from where you come from... and I think nobody really knows how we got here... but it's mostly nice - and safe. And the Pokémon with you can protect you from the ones in the wild, if you need it.
...And if you have any friends back home, some of them could be here, too.
[Audio]; haha wow, I replied with my other account
AHAHAHA WHAT FRIENDS][Mayu found some comfort in the girl's voice. Obviously this girl knows what she's talking about so she'll take her word for it. She felt some discomfort upon the last part though.]
I..didn't have any friends. [That are alive, to be specific.] Did you?
[Audio]; I almost did in the previous tag. Now that would've been wonky.
It takes her just another second to shove aside how much she misses the others - even if it's less and less, her head spins to think about how far and permanently gone they are.]
Yeah. ...But most of them are dead now. The two who weren't are still back where I come from.
I'm sorry. ...Were you lonely?

....Mio?
Audio
N-No.. [A beat.] Do you know her?
Audio
U-Um, y-yes, we've talked a few times. I'm Ib.
Audio
I'm not Mio. [Her voice sounded a little harsher than it originally was.] My name is Mayu.

This is a really overwhelming situation, I know. It'll feel more manageable once you've had a chance to adjust.
Has anyone told you about where you are?
[Audio]
..A young girl told me I was in an area called Johto... in some kind of strange world.
Is there a way to.. return where you came from?
[Audio]
Not that we know about. We're working on it, though, so try not to worry too much, okay?
[His voice stays soft and kind. Obviously, she's young. Reid has spent too long in the FBI to not instinctively protect the young.]
I'm going to turn on the video function. Do you mind doing the same and telling me how old you are, please?
[Audio]----> [Video]
... I'm fifteen years old. [Although she doesn't feel something good is going to come out of this, she can't reject possible help right now.]
[She's hesitant at first but she finally switches her audio function to video. When video shows up, you will see
a Mio cloneMayu cradling a newly hatched Magikarp. There was a guilty look on her face, as if she's done something wrong. Not like she's going to share though.]Who are you?
...My name's Spencer. I'm, um...
[It can't be...] Mayu? Are you Mayu?
[Video]; Where is Mio when you need her
Probably somewhere where she won't be strangled
Mio is a smart girl
(no subject)
[Audio]
I am uncertain of the exact nature of our existences myself.
[He has had his own suspicions about this place, including a deeply seated belief that this might be Hell.]
From your line of questioning, I'm guessing you're probably in the region of this place that's called Johto in or near New Bark Town.
[Audio]
[A small sigh was heard.] Have..have you been here long?
[Audio]
I've been here just under two years and three months. Since October 2010 in my world's reckoning.
[Audio]
2010? People from different times are able to come here too?
[Audio] Sorry this reply is so late! I had a wedding and house guest the past few days :3;;
Yes. I've had people I know appear from hundreds of years before what I know as the present day. I haven't met anyone who is from my world and from the future, though. I'm guessing that there must be some sort of cut off point.
[His voice reflects his discomfort on that last point.]
Video
But the voice was unmistakably hers'. Mio's breath feels caught in her chest, her fingers clenching at the front of her shirt. She wants to reach out and gather Mayu up in her arms and never let go.]
Mayu...
Video
[As her emotions were still shaken up from talking with Reid earlier, she felt them reaching the breaking point again. A sign of this was her attempting to hold herself together before she started crying again.]
Mio... [Was the only word that could come out of her mouth.]
Video
The tears formed and fell before Mio could think to stop them, pressing her hands to her cheeks to wipe at them, not wanting to cover her eyes in case her sister disappeared in the time her eyes were off of her]
You're here--I don't know how, but I..I'm so sorry! [A babble of apologizes spill forth, Mio shaking her head] I'm sorry! But you-- Your'e here now, and I'll make it up to you! I will, I promise!
You're really here, I can't believe it... [She cries harder now, happy to see her sister, but nearly stricken in her guilt]
Video
[However, the sight of her sister crying seemed to relieve some of that anger.]
Mio... [A smile appeared on her face as an attempt to show some comfort., although her reasons aren't exactly innocent minded.] ...Mio, it's ok.
...I forgive you...it wasn't your fault. [This was a total lie in her opinion but she can't point fingers at a moment like this.] Whatever happened...let's not think about it, alright? All that matters now is that we can be together again. Am I wrong?
Video
Mio wouldn't let her fall again.]
We're together again. We're together. I won't let you go this time; I'll keep my promise! [Something about the way she worded that brushes against her mind as being wrong, somehow. Strange, but not enough to raise alarm. It doesn't matter anyway, because Mayu's here, and that's all that matters.]
Where are you? You're in Johto, but I'm in Kanto right now, but I think I could take a boat over, I think. [her mind was in a whirl, her tears subsiding as she starts making up a plan.]
I'll come get you and take you back with me, and we can live together here. We'll be a family again!
