[It's been a while since this girl's shown her face on the network and not that she wanted to or anything but its been months since she's received the pokemon from Armstrong and having no knowledge on caring for a pokemon like his Mamoswine, it doesn't hurt to ask right?]

Has anyone dealt with a pokemon that's tried to attack them before?

I received a pokemon from Mr. Armstrong a while ago and the first time I saw her, she tried to attack him. He managed to stop her with his strength but I'm not sure if I could...

[Mayu cuts off from their before clearing her throat.]

I would appreciate it if anyone knows what to do in this kind of situation. Thank you.

...Maybe, but she also has ground moves. She could retaliate with those moves towards the Arcanine.

[Not to mention she's level 100 that could crush anyone if she wanted.]

Oh... Yeah, dual-types are hard to get around. If you're able to get to Mahogany, the gym leader there might be able to help you more. He owns one of those, I think, and he's good with ice-types in general. Maybe he'll know something.

Well then! Isn't he an asshole? All signs point to "yep, you sure are, asshole". It seems like he knows it, too: following Mayu's response, there's a long, awkward pause on Yusuke's end, during which he just kind of sits there and looks at her, like, "aw HELL, me and my big mouth". Then, finally, he shifts uncomfortably and mutters back to her, saying:]

Sorry. I didn't know.

[Obviously not, but that doesn't necessarily excuse his insensitivity, and he knows it. Of course, there is a part of him that feels a little frustrated by the situation, due to not having been able to really know that she'd ended up with the Pokemon in question because its original trainer left Johto and not because of some shitty prank, but... oh well! Life is hard, kiddo.]

... so uh - [Yeah, he's just gonna... change the subject now. Advice! That's what she was asking for, right? Let's see if he can come up with something that doesn't make him look like a total prick this time.] - what kind of Pokemon are we talking, anyway? If you have something that can take it out easily, you should be all right. I got this murderous beetle thing that hates my guts, but ever since Puu kicked her ass the first time we met, she hasn't tried to attack me at all. I think he's got a... type advantage? Something like that, anyway.

[Of course, Yusuke doesn't really like admitting that he needs a big, stupid bird to keep him from having his butt handed to him by a bug, but... whatever. NOT THE POINT.]

[That was her way of saying 'its alright' when she's seemingly too frustrated to say anything else. Luckily for Yusuke, she's not the type to stay angry for long....or at least show it. The change of subject seems to catch her attention though.]

Do you know what a Mamoswine is? [A beat.] I don't believe I have anything that could help control her when she goes out of control. None of my pokemon are even near her level range.

That does sound a bit strange...

[ he smiles as well, reassuring again. ]

Don't worry, it's not about battling when you handle these things. I don't think a lot of pokemon have more experience sedating others than Doraji, and I still have Sou. Between the two of them, we'll be fine.

I don't remember the exact words but it was something concerning her wanting to "destroy" her previous trainer.

Do you think it could be some kind of spell? [A beat.] O-Or possession?

[Mayu can't help but worry more about what might happen between Seldi and Doraji and Sou and just be completely pessimistic about the whole situation but hey, she's gotta get over it some time sooner or later right?]

I'll...keep that in mind. It probably won't be a while until I reach the town, though. Mahogany was somewhere in Johto, am I right?

He is a true man! [ to be so muscular and strong and clean, it is classy and manly. ]

Oh! She's doing quite well! It was a bit difficult for her to adjust at first, since I couldn't train her in the same way Lord Major Armstrong did... But I think we figured something out that's challenging and interesting for her! [ by focusing on teaching her how to fight against multiple opponents instead. otherwise known as swarming her with five pokemon and Xiaoqiao herself. ]

Right--it's one of the later cities, too, but the trip from Goldenrod isn't too bad. Where did you end up after leaving Saffron, anyway?

I'm really not familiar with those kinds of things... Let's not think of the worse case scenarios when we don't have any way of knowing for sure.

[ he pats her head lightly with a bit of a wry grin. ]

I do say so! Don't think of it as a fight, if it's just subduing her so that Nurse Joy can check her up, I know they can manage. [ this is coming from someone that usually worries about people getting hurt more than anything else. ]

[He actually looks a little freaked out.]

You're Mio's sister, right?

"Mamoswine"? Nah, never heard of it. Is it like a pig, or something?

[Technically, he could just pull up the Pokedex and figure it out by his own damn self, but that would be way too easy. Yusuke Urameshi, professional slacker.]

Where ever Mr. Joonhae goes. We're currently back in Saffron at the moment but I don't know how long we'll be here.

[Mayu flinches a bit at the touch of Joonhae's hand on her head but doesn't make a big deal of it.]

This'd be a whole lot simpler if he thought he could just tell Mayu to punch the mammoth in the trunk and see how she likes getting her ass kicked, but since he obviously can't, he's actually having to deliberate a little before opening his big mouth. Try not to strain yourself, kiddo.] Do you know if they have any, like... I dunno, animal behaviorists here? Like for killer mammoths instead of dogs? You could try that.

Anything is possible here, I guess.. [Except Mio not breaking their childhood promise for once. Even in Johto, that promise is always broken gdi.]

No one hasn't mentioned to me about those kind of people existing here. [That's because you don't TALK to people, Mayu.] I don't think her kind's too common in these areas so most people here wouldn't have too much knowledge on raising one?

Have you tried letting her out of her Pokeball at all yet? Honestly, I wasn't sure if that Pokemon simply had a personal grievance with Major Armstrong or if she acts that way with everyone.

I mean, there are some people here who can talk to pokémon. I don't know if that's the right term for them. Anyway, I was just wondering — the resemblance, and all. Mayu, is it?

I'm afraid not, though I thought my Reuniclus would be a good enough translator?

Well, we are twins so of course we'd look alike and yes, its Mayu. Who is it I'm speaking to...?

I'm not sure if letting her out would lead to her going on a rampage or not so I just kept her in all this time. I'd like to let her out at some point but I don't know when...
